E-bike charging infrastructure with Global Partner Program

May 13, 2026 | From the editors

E-bikes have become an indispensable part of our cities. From Amsterdam to Zaventem, the switch to electric micro-mobility is a reality. However, with this growth comes an urgent problem: where can all those batteries be charged safely? Current solutions are often unsafe, resulting in an increasing risk of fire caused by lithium-ion batteries.

The demand for safe charging infrastructure is growing rapidly. With increasing pressure from insurance companies and new building regulations, organizations can no longer afford to lag behind. The recent incidents involving e-bikes in London are a wake up call for the importance of safe charging infrastructure.

PowerShelter responds to this need with the launch of its Global Partner ProgramThe program is aimed at creating a network of distributors and infrastructure providers that offer safe e-bike charging solutions.

Co-founder Jake De Wulf explains: “We opted for an open system, not tied to a single brand. This program enables us to collaborate with local experts who understand what their customers need.” The first partners, such as Monashee Racks and Fleet Charge Facilities, are already on board and are starting to implement these safe charging solutions.

PowerShelter offers not only hardware, but also a system that minimizes risks and the uptime maximizes. Their products are designed for diverse use, from luxury hotels to busy distribution centers.
