ZilverWerkt specializes in recruiting, selecting, and matching people who continue to work and employers. Our clear mission is to normalize continuing to work after retirement and promote age-inclusiveness within organizations.
ZilverWerkt has a rich history. Originally founded as KlusHeeren, they focused on employing retired tradespeople for home improvement projects. In 2017, they shifted their focus to business clients, and in 2021, they introduced the ZilverWerkt label. This enabled them to serve more sectors and help even more state pensioners find jobs. In 2024, KlusHeeren and ZilverWerkt merged under the name ZilverWerkt, further strengthening their combined strength.
The company focuses on three main pillars: retirees, employers and society:
- The primary target group is retirees who are motivated to continue working. They help state pensioners find jobs that suit their stage of life and aspirations. By providing suitable workspaces, they contribute to their physical and mental well-being.
- The company supports employers in effectively deploying retirees within their organizations. They do this by advising them on the needs of those who continue to work and helping them develop policies that meet these needs.
- Zilverwerkt's efforts are focused on creating a society where continuing to work is the norm. The company therefore promotes a culture in which work is seen as a valuable addition to the lives of retirees.
At ZilverWerkt, they don't view retirement as the end of a career, but as a new phase in which work can play a role. Their mission is to normalize working and help as many retirees as possible find jobs. They achieve this by:
- To provide organizations with access to the labor market for retirees.
- To advise employers on the needs of those who continue to work and to translate this into policy.
- Actively connecting workers with a fun workplace.
- To form a community of hard workers who inspire each other, us, and our clients.
