No more overloaded 16A circuit breakers in the meter cupboard!

May 18, 2026 | By

UniDix4 was developed to prevent inrush currents of 16A circuit breakers. It makes a socket 'smart' because, when voltage rises, every socket is switched on at a minimally different time interval, ensuring that each individual device (computers, adapters, switches, printers, etc.) is supplied with power at just a slightly different moment.

Key features:
• Prevention of voltage surges: by integrating smart technology into sockets, it prevents 16 Amp circuit breakers from tripping.
• Increase fire safety: there is no need to repeatedly switch on circuit breakers until, after multiple attempts, the breaker finally stays on. Every activation
after all, this leads to an arc in the circuit breaker, which is prevented by this. (repetitive switching is unsafe and, according to the NEN standards, also
forbidden).
• Cost savings: once the power supply has been restored, work can resume immediately.
• User-friendly: simple installation that can be easily deployed in any environment, from hospitals to office spaces.
