Well-maintained cast floors last a lifetime.

March 31, 2026 | From the editors

The durability of cast floors depends on the care they receive. By following the correct maintenance procedures, the floor remains in top condition and unnecessary costs for replacements or extensive repairs are avoided. This makes a cast floor an investment in the future of any commercial space. With proper maintenance, a cast floor can last a long time in the business world.

To minimize scratches and wear, it is important to place a doormat at the entrance. This prevents sand and grit from damaging the floor. Additionally, it is advisable to equip furniture with protectors so that it does not cause scratches when moved.

Daily maintenance consists of vacuuming and checking for stains. For weekly maintenance, damp cleaning is essential. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chlorine-based products, as these can damage the floor.

A thorough cleaning is necessary at least one to two times a year. Use specially developed products such as Cleanec Power Clean for this. This keeps the floor not only clean, but also beautiful and functional.

With the right care and attention, a cast floor can last for years, resulting in a durable and attractive foundation for any commercial space.
