Housing association De Alliantie manages more than 50.000 homes, the vast majority of which are designated for social housing. With a large amount of real estate in busy urban areas, such as Amsterdam, parking was a source of irritation for a long time. An outdated system led to complaints, overcrowded garages, and an overloaded service desk.
In 2015, De Alliantie entered into a partnership with CETEQ to modernize parking management. More than 70 locations received an updated infrastructure featuring license plate recognition, contactless access control, and a digital resident portal. Tenants can register vehicles and manage access themselves without the intervention of the service desk.
The result: fewer disruptions, greater ease of use, and a noticeable reduction in service desk workload. Automation saves costs and increases satisfaction among residents and employees.
The collaboration between De Alliantie and CETEQ demonstrates how digitalization can contribute to more efficient real estate management in the social housing sector.
