For ING, De Vries Projekt Design took responsibility for both the interior and exterior wayfinding. This project is an example of how visual communication systems contribute to the customer experience in a banking environment. Wayfinding is important for creating a clear and accessible space for customers and employees.
The design of the signage took ING's needs into account. The interior signage quickly guides customers to important services, such as counters and ATMs. This was based on clear fonts and colors that match ING's corporate identity. This ensures a recognizable and professional appearance.
The exterior signage is just as important. It must not only be informative but also inviting to potential customers. Provision has been made for highly visible signs with the right message. This not only aids in navigation but also reinforces the brand identity, as in this case with ING.
