Chrono schools switch to contract management software

April 14, 2026 | From the editors

At Chrono Schools, an educational institution with multiple locations and various vendors, managing contracts has become a complex task. Previously, contracts were scattered across Excel files, emails, and shared folders. This led to a lack of oversight and numerous errors, such as missed deadlines and duplicate payments.

With a growing number of contracts for teaching materials, IT solutions, and cleaning services, the need for a better system became increasingly clear. Finance and Housing Officer, Monique van de Heide, noticed that using Excel and shared calendars wasn't working. "We lost control of our contracts," she says.

This fragmented information resulted in a number of undesirable issues, such as an insufficient overview of active contracts and obligations, excessive time spent searching for contracts, and contracts being silently renewed due to the lack of automatic reminders. To address these problems, Chrono Schools switched to FAMAS, a contract management software.
