Housing Corporation The Alliance manages more than 50.000 homes, the vast majority of which are intended for social housing. With many properties in dense urban areas, such as Amsterdam, parking has long been a source of irritation. An outdated system led to complaints, overcrowded garages, and an overloaded service desk.
In 2015 . went The Alliance a collaboration with CETEQ To modernize parking management. More than 70 locations received updated infrastructure with license plate recognition, contactless access control, and a digital resident portal. Tenants can now register vehicles themselves and manage access without the service desk.
The result: fewer disruptions, greater ease of use, and a noticeable reduction in service desk workload. Automation saves costs and increases satisfaction among residents and employees.
The collaboration between The Alliancethat and CETEQ shows how digitalization can contribute to more efficient real estate management in the social housing sector.
