May 9, 2026 | From the editors

The King Willem I College in 's-Hertogenbosch opted for the AperitifASSA ABLOY's system to improve access to its buildings and facilities. This was implemented as a step towards enhancing security and managing access control within the educational institution.

Aperitif is a solution that combines wireless technologies with physical security. This system allows the college to easily manage and monitor doors, while simultaneously improving the user experience for students and staff. By integrating Aperitif the council can flexibly arrange access to various spaces, depending on the needs of the users.

King Willem I College chose Aperio, Because this system can create a modern, secure learning environment. The increasing focus on security in educational institutions makes it important for schools to invest in reliable access control systems. Aperitif provides security and ease of use through the ability to manage access rights remotely.

With this, Koning Willem I College is taking an important step toward a future-proof infrastructure. The college is thus at the forefront of technologies that contribute to a safe and efficient learning environment.
