Norma Bijsterhuizen – Wychen

May 19, 2026 | From the editors

The Norma Bijsterhuizen distribution center, located on the business park between Nijmegen and Wijchen, is a remarkable project in which the emphasis lies on both efficiency and sustainability. Developed by Heembouw Architects, the center covers an area of 34.320 m², supplemented by 1.440 m² of office space. The location, directly adjacent to the A73 and A326, offers optimal logistical connections that are essential for modern business operations.

In the design of the distribution center, not only functional aspects were taken into account, but also the appearance and the impact on the environment. Heembouw paid special attention to a green design, resulting in parking spaces that look attractive even when not fully occupied. This sustainable aspect underscores Heembouw's commitment to a balance between functionality and nature.

With the completion of this project, which is now fully leased, Heembouw confirms its role as a reliable developer in the logistics sector. The center offers modern infrastructure that enables companies to operate efficiently and contribute to a sustainable future.
