Specialist work should be left to the specialists

May 12, 2026

At the notary's office Hak & Rein Vos, they're quite happy about it. The tens of thousands of deeds that have been drawn up, served, and recorded over the course of the firm's existence are no longer physically located in the office. Karmac M&R in Lelystad manages the deeds and stores them under optimal conditions. "This not only saves us a lot of space in the office, but also time and energy. We'd rather spend those things on the best interests of our clients," says Bart Jan Binnerts, partner/notary at Hak & Rein Vos. The notary's office is located in a brand-new office in Lelystad. Bart Jan: "We moved there two years ago!"

The notary office wanted to keep the deeds in safekeeping with a specialist who

– handles it properly,
– the office can provide the information (read: deed) when requested,
– provides continuity in management for the longer term,
– and can provide assurance that both the deeds and the company would still exist in at least twenty years' time.
