With more than 38.000 homes providing housing to approximately 80.000 residents, Housing Foundation Rochdale is important for the housing supply in Amsterdam. One of its key priorities is ensuring both safety and living comfort for its tenants. This has led to the implementation of advanced security systems in their homes.
For a long time, Rochdale struggled with a fragmented security landscape. Various outdated systems and brands resulted in inefficient management of intercom systems, access control, and camera surveillance. This led to high maintenance costs and complex access rights management. To address these issues, there was a need for a future-proof solution.
In collaboration with Elbo Technology, Rochdale opted for an integrated security system. This system includes video intercom, access control, and camera surveillance, all centrally managed. This allows residents to identify visitors in advance and provides an effective barrier against unwanted visitors and vandalism. This approach has not only increased safety but also significantly improved living comfort.
Fred Dalm, Project Manager at Rochdale, emphasizes the benefits: “Our residents must feel safe. With the solutions from Elbo Technology, we now have a centralized system that unburdens us and reduces costs.” The result is a safer living environment with a significant decrease in vandalism, which yields cost savings in the long run.
