Technical documentation Anticimex smart box

May 12, 2026 | From the editors

The Anticimex Smart Box is an automated and poison-free system for catching mice and rats. This stand-alone unit operates independently of power or mains connections and can catch up to thirty rodents without manual maintenance.

The Smart Box detects heat and movement. As soon as a rodent is detected, the system automatically activates an electric trap function that quickly and humanely eliminates the animal. The catch is safely stored in a sealed container, preventing odors and the risk of contamination.

All data – such as catch numbers, battery status, and maintenance requirements – are continuously transmitted to the Smart Data Center. This allows Anticimex employees to be efficiently directed for service and maintenance.

The Smart Box is part of the Anticimex Smart concept, which combines 24/7 digital monitoring with sustainable pest control in accordance with IPM guidelines. The solution can be deployed in diverse environments, from food production and healthcare to industry and logistics – always with minimal impact on people, animals, and the environment.
